On September 22, 2026, UPG and certain of its U.S. affiliates filed voluntary petitions for Chapter 11 protection in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois to facilitate Court-supervised sales of its flat roll and fabrication businesses and assets.

UPG intends to continue operating throughout the Chapter 11 process.
